This silent retreat will introduce Buddhist teachings on mindfulness clearly and practically. A warm and compassionate approach, guided meditations, pointers on sitting posture and opportunities to ask questions will make this an accessible retreat. Giving oneself and others the “gift of silence” i.e. not speaking except during meetings with the teacher and times for Q&A, enables retreatants to enter into their inner experience and allows the mind to become more settled. Participants will be offered guidance to bring mindfulness into daily life to meet our relationships, work and responsibilities with awareness and an open heart.
This retreat welcomes beginners and those with some experience.
